The prevention of denque fever (DBD) cases continues to be intensified in Harapan Urban Village, North Thousand Islands Sub-district, Thousand Islands. It is realized by monitoring the mosquito larvae in residents' homes and neighborhoods through local cadre of wiggler hunter (Jumatik).
Harapan Island Urban Village Secretary Irfan Damanhuri said it was conducted in RT 01-06 in RW 01 and RT 01-05 in RW 02.

According to him, the monitoring was conducted by checking the water reservoirs and drums belonging to residents while still implementing health protocols.
"At the same time, the jumantik cadres also educate locals about preventing mosquito breeding by draining and closing water reservoirs and burying used goods," he stated.
